I had an ARC for this book， but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 Abrielle Adams has been living on a ranch for a couple years paying taxes and utilities when Smith Long comes to town。 His aunt had told him he could have the ranch， but there were some stipulations – he had to share it with Abrielle， and in order to do that they must marry。 An interesting look at learning to get along and work together for the benefit of others。 A great story！

Smith's history has led him to decide all women are deceitful and should never be trusted， so when he turns up to claim the farm his aunt offered him and finds that she already has a young woman living there， he does his best to horrify the woman。 Then his aunt declares that they both have a claim on the farm and so neither can have it unless they marry。。。 Abrielle needs the farm to help her get back on her feet - but is it worth it if it requires her to marry the rude， intrusive stranger who ba Smith's history has led him to decide all women are deceitful and should never be trusted， so when he turns up to claim the farm his aunt offered him and finds that she already has a young woman living there， he does his best to horrify the woman。 Then his aunt declares that they both have a claim on the farm and so neither can have it unless they marry。。。 Abrielle needs the farm to help her get back on her feet - but is it worth it if it requires her to marry the rude， intrusive stranger who barged into her life one evening？ Can the pair look past first impressions and their own histories to see the possibilities such a marriage offers？The author respects marriage and （generally） treats it as the lifelong covenant the Bible teaches （we'll ignore characters' past divorces）， but she then throws her characters into some most unusual situations to really demonstrate how that could work in real life if people were brave enough （and trusted God enough）。 But while the situations are often unusual， the characters feel like real people with real problems， and at times provide inspiring examples - Smith's first night at the farm not being one of them！ :-） I found this book thought-provoking as well as entertaining， and look forward to future books in the series。 Recommended。Note that I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author。 I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book。 。。。more

A special sort of love story。 Great believable characters， that I was in awe of。 Regular people inconspicuously trusting in a big God。 I loved this story。 This author Jessie Gussman is so talented。 I received a copy of this book and all opinions are my own。

Miss April has a few tricks up her sleeve to get these two together - Abrielle and Smith。 She only has one condition in order for them to get her ranch， but will they be willing to meet it？ They have the funniest first meeting and a rather uncomfortable second one。 Really liked seeing these two be open to what the Lord has in store for them。

SweetWater is a really sweet place to live。 With all its residents， their interactions， friendship and how they help each other。 Abrielle and Smith’s first encounter wasn’t very pleasant but when they realise they need to work together and get married if they want their dreams to come true， will they be able to find common ground and happiness？ Sweet， fun and full of faith and good reflection about live and God， as always with Jessie’s books
